Tell us about your journey
Agrocalidad requires official certification and species-specific health conditions. Check whether the animal is collected as accompanied baggage; that procedure must be distinguished from manifest cargo.
Ask your vet and the DDPP/DDETSPP responsible for your address about the certificate, official endorsement and appointment. Spanish CEXGAN processing does not apply to a French departure.
European-country formalities: Douane · France
Species, breed, age, health, weight and carrier dimensions affect the options. PETC means travel in the cabin; AVIH means carriage in the conditioned hold on the accompanying traveller’s flight. We propose an option only when the operating airline accepts that animal and itinerary.
Provide the airport, final city and every connection. Confirm inspection with Agrocalidad and allow time for onward travel. The map illustrates the route and does not confirm a direct flight or pet space.
Read the current requirements and confirm the procedure for your animal and airport before booking.
Answers to common questions about documents, preparation and accompanied travel.
Export health certificate issued or endorsed by the departure country’s official authority, in Spanish or English, within ten days before entry.
Age over four months, identification and clinical examination within ten days before travel, with complete animal details. Internal and external parasite treatment within 21 days before departure, recording product, active substance and date. Required species-specific vaccines must be current. Ecuador specifies 14 days after the first rabies vaccination; this does not replace the EU’s 21 days. Document any vaccine not approved in the departure country under Agrocalidad’s instructions.
For this non-exempt origin, check a result of at least 0.5 IU/ml from an EU-designated laboratory: sampling at least 30 days after primary vaccination and 90 days before certificate issue. Check the possible re-entry exception for a documented test before leaving the EU and continuous vaccination. Open the reverse route Ecuador → France and review its conditions separately. Do not assume that the outbound permit or certificate covers the return.
Confirm the animal’s place, PETC or accompanied AVIH option, aircraft, breed, weight and connections with every operating airline. The passenger booking does not confirm pet acceptance.
