Route assessment
Departure country, dates, pet profile and carrier.
We coordinate departure from the United States and entry into Germany. Identification, rabies vaccination, the health certificate or an eligible pet passport, and accompanied-flight options are reviewed before booking.

Your pet’s characteristics, carrier and itinerary determine how we prepare the journey.

Tell us about your journey
EU entry requires valid identification and rabies vaccination, together with a health certificate or an eligible passport for a returning pet. Where a certificate is needed, a USDA-accredited veterinarian prepares it and USDA APHIS endorses it. Use the model effective from October 2026 and arrange endorsement within the ten days before arrival in the EU.
For travel to Germany from the United States, identify the first authorised EU entry point and the final city. Review the documents with an accredited veterinarian and arrange USDA endorsement; the file must match the country of the first entry check.

Species, breed, age, health and carrier dimensions affect the options. We assess PETC in the cabin or AVIH in the hold with an accompanying person on the same flight; the operating airline must accept the animal and itinerary. Where an authorised person travels with the pet, we review their authorisation and its connection with the owner’s journey.
Documents are prepared for the first entry point into the EU, even if another flight or ground transfer follows. U.S. origin does not itself trigger the rabies titre requirement for unlisted countries; current listing status, travel history and stopovers must be checked. The map is illustrative and does not confirm a direct flight. For Germany, we review the entry point, final destination and applicable national and local animal restrictions.
Check current authority and airline instructions for your animal and actual itinerary before booking.
Answers to common questions about documents, preparation and accompanied travel.
It is not a general requirement for non-commercial movement from an exempt country listed by the EU, such as the United States. Travel history, stopovers and the current conditions for the individual case must still be checked.
After primary rabies vaccination, the minimum 21-day wait or applicable immunity period must be met. Boosters given without a lapse in validity are assessed differently. Your veterinarian must confirm the dates.
It may be used if it remains eligible and correctly records the return requirements. Otherwise, a health certificate is prepared. A U.S. veterinary record or a document called a passport does not automatically replace an EU pet passport.
Accompanied options with an authorised person can be assessed. Non-commercial movement requires review of authorisation, no change of ownership, the owner’s travel within the five-day window and the applicable animal-number limit.
It is better to check pet acceptance, veterinary preparation, endorsement timing and the entry point first. Give your actual cities: the map is illustrative and a request does not confirm availability or a booking.
Share the departure country, destination and pet details. We review feasible accompanied options before proposing a service.
